
For years, Delta Hotels has been conducting in-house, on-site training for their Supervisors. They decided to investigate the possibility of putting the Positive Corrective Action section of their training course on-line in order to be able to train supervisors on an individual basis. It was important for them to retain the properties of the group setting and activities, as well as the input of the facilitator, for the online learner.
Collaborative Learning
With the help of trained educators, who specialize in on-line learning, Donat Group used extensive interaction, including key audio pieces, to meet Delta Hotel’s requirements. The variety of activities, coupled with smart use of downloadable forms kept the course visually appealing while still providing the necessary documentation.
Delta Hotels has used five locations as test sites for the course pilot, and the demand has far exceeded expectations. Supervisors can be trained on an as-needed basis. Donat Group is proud to be a part of Delta’s progressive work environment.
