To easily reuse content is vital to any multimedia company's success. Adhering to standards and best practices is only part of the solution. We really need a new collective mindset for authoring, and with it new tools to aid reuse. The exciting promise of reuse is a vision that Nicholas Negroponte espoused almost a decade ago in his book, "Being Digital". Today much of this vision is attainable. We need only the will.
