Socrates Learning Systems is expanding the range of features and services that it offers its clients like Wal-mart and Zellers, by developing a personal learning portal. The portal will still provide a standard and SCORM compliant course management system, but it will also include a mentoring module, a content creation toolkit, and a rich media executive communications module.

Donat Group will be integrating a number of OpenSource solutions like ATutor into the new learning portal in efforts to keep costs down, and build upon the excellent work being done in the OpenSource community. The new system will be compliant with a number of XML and relational Databases. Release is slated for Summer/Fall of 2005.
