Last year Donat Group moved to Vancouver's East Side. We are in a tiny little nook known locally as Railtown. Railtown is full of small design shops, architects, and software companies. However, the surrounding area is the most downtrodden and dangerous 5 block radius in Canada. Railtown is seen by many as the begining of the gentrification of Vancouver Downtown East Side.

The Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC) has chosen Donat Group to develop their flagship online product for Canada's tourism industry. The Human Resource Tool Kit is an extensive online product intended to service and aid companies in Canada's tourism industry with their Human Resource needs.

New Media BC has hired Donat Group to develop an online “Opportunity Alert” portal to provide a matchmaking service for qualified new media companies that are seeking and/or offering business or partnership opportunities. Donat Group's extensive experience developing communities and social networks made us a clear choice to develop this product. However, it was our detailed development process and exemplary track record of customer satisfaction that stood out and earned us this contract with New Media BC. Opportunity Alert will be launching in the Spring of 2007.

BCIT has chosen Convergence to develop the next phase of their Social Learning shared services project. Convergence is a consortium of three prominent Vancouver based companies Donat Group, Lambda Solutions, and Odyssey Learning. The three companies have joined forces to offer BCcampus instructional design, training, and technical expertise for the next generation of on-line learning services based around Web 2.0 technologies. Donat Group's role within the consortium is to act as lead architect for the service based on Drupal and Moodle.

NANOMED Canada is Canada’s leading community for NANOMED researchers. Donat Group was hired to develop a community site that will act as the hub and provide key services for Canada’s Nanomed community. The NANOMED Canada website is a community site that will facilitate coordination and cooperation among nanotechnology researchers as well as learning environments and resources for students, researchers and industry professionals.
